On the 9th Sept.C5/6 no.2978 was scheduled to work back from Biasca to Erstfeld. However the steam loco, which was steaming badly, started a number of lineside fires and had to be piloted from Faido by Re4/4 no.11161. The pair are seen here approaching Airolo. |
